🏆Heartiest Congratulations on Winning the Prestigious InventX 2026 🏆
The Tinkerers' Lab, Government Engineering College Idukki , extends its heartfelt congratulations to Ihsaan Mohammed K S, an active and passionate member of Tinkerers' Lab GECI and an S5 Mechanical Engineering student, on his outstanding achievement of securing First Prize, along with a cash award of ₹2,00,000, at InventX 2026, organized by the Maker Bhavan Foundation for students from Tinkerers' Lab-enabled institutions across India.
Tinkerers' Lab GECI , established with the support of the Maker Bhavan Foundation , takes immense pride in the fact that the establishment of the lab at GECI created a gateway for Ihsaan to participate in InventX . InventX is an exclusive six-week residential summer program conducted at IIT Gandhinagar, designed to train engineering, science, and design students to develop patentable inventions. Only 60 students from across the country were chosen through a rigorous national selection process.
The program provided him with invaluable mentorship, hands-on innovation training, patent support, and practical exposure, enabling him to further develop his skills as an innovator.
Driven by his passion for innovation and hands-on problem-solving, Ihsaan successfully progressed through this highly competitive selection process and, together with his team, developed an innovative Wearable Dog Deterrent Device. Competing against some of the brightest young innovators in the country, the team emerged as national winners, securing the First Position and a ₹2,00,000 cash prize.
This remarkable achievement reflects the spirit of innovation, creativity, and practical engineering that Tinkerers' Lab GECI strives to cultivate among its students.
