ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The department has been in existence since the beginning of the institution in the year 2000, and offers B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (NBA accredited) and M. Tech in VLSI & Embedded Systems. The department envisions to evolve as a centre of excellence in Electronics and Communication Engineering, moulding professionals with innovative thinking, social commitment and research attitude. The following programs in the department have been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

• B. Tech. Degree program on Electronics and Communication Engineering (Full time, Accredited by NBA),
• M. Tech. degree program  on VLSI & Embedded Systems (Full time). 

The department has recently undertook various AI projects like surveillance camera systems to detect the presence of wild animals, amphibians and butterflies in forest fringe areas in Mankulam division.
