EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES
Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
The college has a subscription to IEEE online journals under INDEST-AICTE consortium. All the IEEE transactions including journals and conference proceedings are available to the whole college community through all the network nodes available in the college, which can be efficiently utilized by the students for their academic activities including project works, seminars etc.
Edusat Interactive Terminal
The Satellite Interactive Terminal established in the college by the ISRO enables distant education via Edusat. The virtual classroom environment is made alive by the latest multimedia equipment. Sessions on various engineering topics are held on the network and students are able to interact real-time with the subject experts.
Central Computing Facility
All the computers in various labs, staff rooms etc., are inter networked through campus area network. The administrative wing, academic blocks and lab blocks come under the umbrella of campus area network. The CCF also subscribes to the IEEE (under Indest Consortium), so that the students and staff members can access all the journals and proceedings of IEEE. This provides the students a view to state of the art technology and enables them with the necessary technical skills to face the competitive job market.
